Job Description
GuestLogixGuestLogix has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President, Solutions Delivery for the Asia Pacific Region based in our Hong Kong office. Reporting to the SVP & GM, the successful candidate will have project management responsibility for key clients, direct and lead project managers, business analyst and hardware specialist, refine the processes used in the delivery of projects, and provide project guidance. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Senior Management Team on product development and solution delivery.
We require a person who can demonstrate the essential skills of communicating and working in a small team environment as well as a proactive approach to dealing with the day-to-day operational issues as they arise in this business function. This person will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely, cooperatively, and collaboratively with various business units to prioritize projects and tasks and allocate resources consistent with the company's strategy and objectives.
Responsibilities :
- Responsibilities include solution design for the service with our capabilities; maintain direct contact with operations, ensuring quality of service resulting in overall increase in our customer satisfaction.
- Lead and manage a client solutions and delivery team through instilling best of class project management processes and methodologies, creating and maintaining an environment of high performance that delivers an outstanding level of customer service.
- Review project specifications, documentation and work with the technical leads to provide project estimates
- Set Guidelines for Project managers on Statement of Work, Project Change Request.
- Manage the resourcing process for all Asia Pacific projects, including forecasting, and trend analysis
- Engage in project reviews
- The successful candidate will have a strong proven ability to manage a P&L, customer focused outcomes, and a broad and deep understanding of technology infrastructure management.
- Implement GuestLogix Best Practices for the Asia Pacific Delivery organization.
- Ensure effective on-boarding of new team members and continuation of their professional growth and learning, actively manages performance of the Solution Delivery Team.
- Support Customer Meetings as required by Sales or Client Support.
- Ability to lead and manage in a cross-functional environment to ensure value to the business.
- The candidate will possess with a successful track record of self motivation, exceeding goals and expectations for both internal and external customers.
- Strong commitment to professional client service excellence and proven success managing and measuring customer service metrics
Required Qualifications and Competencies :
- 10 to 12 years in Information Technology with progressive Project/Program management responsibility
Degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering
- Superior verbal and written communication skills including presentation at every level of the organization
- Must have extensive experience in managing Software Delivery Life-cycles as well as Quality
- Assurance and testing environment in Software development
- Analytical and problem solving skills to identify and resolve complex and unique issues
- Proven track record in establishing and maintaining internal and external client relations
- Fully conversant with PMI's PMBOK
- Sound knowledge of business cases and project financial models
- Conflict management and team building skills
- Disciplined approach to reporting, metrics and performance management
- Portfolio Management expertise is an asset
- PMP or Master Certificate in Project Management are a definite asset
- Fluent English and Chinese
- Eligible to legally work in Hong Kong
