This position is based in Bracknell UK and the position reports directly to the SVP/GM of GuestLogix EMEA.
Job Description
The VP Sales and Client Management will meet or exceed sales objectives of the assigned territory by promoting and selling the GuestLogix product solutions through established professional sales techniques and creating long-term customer relationships, as well as managing and mentoring a team of Client Directors supporting the sales and management of existing clients.
Responsibilities :
- Develops area business plans in conjunction with SVP/GM, which details strategies and activities to follow during the fiscal year in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Move the sale through the entire sales process
- Takes lead and owns the RFP process with existing and potential clients.
- Creates and conducts effective client presentations. Prepares written presentations, reports, and price quotes.
- Conducts and owns contract negotiations, working closely with legal counsel.
- Manages a complex enterprise solution sale with a 3 to 8 month purchasing cycle.
- Ability to up-sell and sell additional products/services into existing clients.
- Analyzes long-term impact of new or anticipated strategies and decisions.
- Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans;
- Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing clients.
- Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction
- Assists in implementation of company products as needed.
- Attendsand participates in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
- Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
- Proactively establishes and maintains effective working team relationships with all support Functions
- Provides weekly reporting of pipeline and forecast using the GuestLogix (Sales-Force) automation tool.
- Demonstrates airline industry knowledge; keeps abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.
- Effectively and efficiently employs GuestLogix resources at appropriate stages in the sales cycle, to grow and advance the sale.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
Key Requirements
- MA or BA degree
- 5+ year's sales leadership experience in the solution software sales industries (airline sector a definite asset).
- Track record of motivating and managing a team of account and sales professionals.
- Skilled at creating and executing prospecting strategies for discovering new accounts.
- Successful achievement of 1M+ quotas, consultative enterprise/solution or technical sales.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers.
- Ability to craft a solution with appropriate products and services that meets business goals based on client feedback.
- Applies influence and negotiation skills to drive business results.
- Must be able to travel up to 25-40%of the time.
- Solid understanding of business metrics concepts. Strong PC experience including Microsoft Office Suite.
