Job Description

This position is based in Dallas, TX and the position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales/Business Development and Client Services. The Regional Sales Director (RSD) will meet or exceed sales objectives of the assigned territory by promoting and selling the GuestLogix product solutions through professional sales techniques and long-term customer relationships. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conduct contract negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing clients
  • Develop area business plans in conjunction with SVP/GM, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year in meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Create and conduct effective client presentations. Preparing written presentations, reports, and price quotations.
  • Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, focus on the customer, collaborate on issues creatively and demonstrate high integrity
  • Manage a complex enterprise solution sale with a 3 month to 12 month purchasing cycle.
  • Move the sale through the entire sales process ending after the transition to a Director of Client Services. This includes taking an active role in the RFP process.
  • Demonstrate industry knowledge
  • Become familiar with all GuestLogix Partner relationships and how they relate to GuestLogix sales.
  • Provide weekly reporting of pipeline and forecast using the SalesForce or other automation tool.
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
  • Effectively and efficiently employ GuestLogix resources at appropriate stages in the sales cycle;
    matching level for level, to grow and advance the sale.

Key Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese (written and oral)
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5+ years proven sales experience in the solution software sales industries.
  • Skilled at creating and executing prospecting strategies for discovering new accounts.
  • Successful achievement of 5M+ quotas, consultative enterprise/solution or technical sales
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with C-level and other decision-makers
  • Ability to craft a solution with appropriate products and services that meets business goals based on client
  • Applies influence and negotiation skills to drive business results
  • Must be able to travel up to 30-60%of the time.
  • Solid understanding of business metrics concepts.
  • Strong PC experience including Microsoft Office Suite.
