Job Description

GuestLogix has an exciting role for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, seasoned software sales and strategy professional to cover our North Asian territory include but not limited to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan.
 
This role is located in GuestLogix's regional head office in Hong Kong.  Reporting to the SVP & GM – Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for formulating the sales and business strategy, developing, maintaining and growing relationships with key accounts and partners within the transport and service travel industry. You will grow the territory by both direct customer interface or through other existing partnering channels.

Responsibilities :

  • Build up a team of Pre-sales and Client support personnel.
  • Be independently responsible for the Sales/Revenue/customer relations within the North Asian territory (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Macau)
  • Understand and communicate the company's strategy in the region.  Provide feedback to headquarters on corporate strategic direction based on marketplace feedback
  • Will assist prospects in developing a need for GuestLogix portfolio of products and solutions while working with Technical Team to communicate product features
  • Evaluate and develop new product/services for GuestLogix Solutions outside of the airline industry
  • Evaluate and develop partnership opportunities to supplement current company reach into new territories or verticals
  • Introduce sales support processes to increase operational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Proactively manage the coordination of sales activities and sales resources in alignment with overall company strategy
  • Gather pertinent company data and information (both technical and strategy)
  • Ability in building relationships with new clients, and cultivating and growing relationships over time
  • Build up an effective communication channels between and within the sales team, solution delivery and other corporate leadership
  • Liaise with marketing, product team and other departments to identify, develop and maintain a marketing communication tools
  • Manage and develop direct reports

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 10 to 12 years of client management, partnership development and sales and/or marketing experience in the airline industry, ideally within North Asia.
  • Bachelor's degree required (Business), Master's degree preferred (Business).
  • Have strong prospecting and territory development skills and be able to think strategically about growing a territory
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop win-win relationships and deals
  • Strong understanding of the transport and travel sectors
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills in English (a foreign language is a bonus)
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing sales proposals, pitches and formal responses to RFIs and RFPs
  • Highly self motivated and must be able to travel
  • Strategic and tactical problem solver
  • Experienced in professional presentations
  • Ability to lead and engage others as required
